Video: Bowerbirds – “Sweet Moment”

The Bowerbirds’ new video for “Sweet Moment” for the track culled from their recent release The Clearing is full of them–sweet moments that is. Thematically, the video deals with the temporary nature of all things and portrays a young woman who is leaving, but reminisces about the moments of joy she has shared with the one she must leave. The directorial decision to leave her reason for departure vague strengthens the point of the video. Musically, the Bowerbirds’ somber croons and soothing acoustics are as sweet as the moments encapsulated in the video. Check it out.
