Baptist Generals to Release New Album on Sub Pop

Man, it feels like years since I’ve heard the Baptist Generals. I remember a great show in 2003 with the Mountain Goats back when Austin’s venue The Parish was The Mercury. At any rate, I’m happy they’re back with their off-kilter folk rock. The band will return with Jackleg Devoltional to the Heart on Sub Pop on May 21^st.
