Mount Eerie to Release New Live Collection via XRA Records

mount_eerie_live_in_bloomingtonDespite Mount Eerie’s primary creative force Phil Elverum owning and running his own successful label, the musician has a history of releasing EPs, singles, and collections through other channels. Yesterday the announcement came that XRA Records (Crossroads of America), a label based in Bloomington, Indiana will release a 12″ LP of live Mount Eerie material entitled Live in Bloomington, September 30th, 2011. The record will be release on June 11, 2013. Don’t get those dates confused, now.

The album features songs that span the long career of Elverum; a full tracklisting can be found below the promotional video for the album. Back Elverum on this recording are Nicholas Krgovich and Julia Chirka, members of the bands No Kids and Two Bad Catholics. Further details are purported to emerge in coming weeks.

Tracklisting:

introduction / House Shape / Between Two Mysteries / Ancient Questions / Karl Blau / No Inside, No Out / The Place I Live / Lone Bell / See Me / Stone’s Ode / The Place Lives
