The Austin Music Blogger Awards is a partnership between Austin’s music blogger community and the nonprofit organization Austin Music People. The event will take place on Thursday, February 27th at Spider House Ballroom and will be an opportunity to highlight some of Austin’s best bands and musicians. Winners of awards in a number of categories will be recognized throughout an evening of music with a strong bill of supporting bands: Jess Williamson, Magna Carda, Shivery Shakes, Mirror Travel, A Giant Dog, Orthy and a Special Guest. Advance tickets are available for $12 HERE and will be $15 at the door.
Participating blogs include Pop Press International, Austin Town Hall, Red River Noise, Ultra 8201, Side One Track One, Austin Bloggy Limits, OVRLD, and Republic of Austin. Austin Music People will be giving away music industry awards while the collective of bloggers will focus on musicians and bands. Below you can see a list of all categories and nominees.
