Video: “Mind Control” – Friends

“Mind Control” is the first single from Friends’ long awaited debut LP, Manifest!, out June 5. Director Hir Muria removes the group from their signature homemade, 90’s-inspired videos by hurling them even further back in time: the late 70’s. The gang’s all there (including a cameo by former Real Estate drummer Etienne Pierre Duguay) but lead singer Samantha Urbani is the real star as she offers more valuable advice and fights “the bad guys” against espionage, and, well, mind control. “Mind Control” has kaliedoscope visuals, digital countdown timers, pulled off faces and septum piercings- watch it above!
