Girls Names’ sound has shifted a bit since the release of their debut album a year ago and it’s all for the better. The group has just dropped a digital version of “A Troubled See”- a song that will appear on their forthcoming 7″ split with Weird Dreams- due June 25 via Tough Love and Slumberland. The group has since expanded to a four-piece and taken inspiration from krautrock and psychedelia rather than the former influences of traditional surf and pop-rock. With dreamy vocals, tapping snare, and a catchy guitar hook that begs you to dance- “A Troubled See” is likely to become your summer anthem. Stream the track below:
