Track Review: “Perfect Ten” – Jaill

In a little less than a month, Jaill will issue their new full-length Traps on Sub Pop. Preceding that release is “Perfect Ten” The track is a perfect example of the pop single. It feels like a beach party version of T-Rex  and features laid back guitars, quirky vocal melodies and background harmonies. The choppy, scale-based breakdown around the two-minute mark before the song dissolves into a whining, distorted solo are fantastic. We’re looking forward to June 12th. Download or stream below.
