We previously wrote about the first glimpse of UK duo Summer Camp’s new EP Always, out July 10th on Moshi Moshi, when they revealed the track “Life.” Now, we’ve been blessed with another gift in the form of the EP’s title track. The song exemplifies pop perfection. It’s infectious and persistently danceable. On another note, not that overall aesthetics matter much to the sound of the music, but can I just point out Summer Camp’s impeccable usage of art, color, and font? I’m reminded of the comprehensive aesthetics of last years film, Drive. Both seemed to be avid fans of hot pink cursive. In any case, the track is topping our list for best tracks of the year so far. Check out “Always” below.
