Video: Videoing – “Crimson Wave”

In anticipation of their forthcoming album the Reader LP, out July 10th on Slack Electric, Austin’s Videoing has released a new video for their song “Crimson Wave.” We previously reported about a ton of various endeavors and newsworthy happenings involving lead singer Adreon Henry. As is usual for Henry’s creative aspirations, the video for “Crimson Wave” isn’t just another music video. Instead, it follows a surreal and abstract narrative in which a girl buries a man alive, only to have him rise from the dead before she has to hunt him down in her car. Musically the song recalls early 2000s dark synth pop with it’s driving rhythm and strained vocals. Check it out above.

Videoing plays their record release show July 20th at the Mohawk.
