Video: My Morning Jacket – “Outta My System”

My Morning Jacket are set to release their new EP entitled Outta My System, which hits shelves tomorrow. Today, they released a video for that titled track, which features Zach Galifanakis as a Wizard. The video begins in a desert washed in dark, blue light, but after James plunges into a portal he’s transported to a psychedelically strange animated world. The song’s guitar lines are simple, but James’ vocal melody is infectious as usual, recalling 60s surf pop before the song incorporates slide guitar and simple snare. Watch above.
