Video: Dana Falconberry – “Lake Charlevoix”

We wrote previously about Dana Falconberry’s outstanding single, “Lake Charlevoix,” from her impending full-length Leelanau, out October 9th on Antenna Farm Records. Falconberry has been one of Austin’s most important musical contributors for years now, and with this new full-length, she’s getting the accolades she deserves. Props to SPIN, who did a great job writing up the video, which features scenic images of stark landscapes walked by Falconberry with a silver balloon in hand. Visually, the video perfectly accompanies the music–sparse at times, lush at others, and always beautiful and entrancing. The Matt Bauer directed video is a wonderful companion to Leelanau‘s first single. We can’t wait for the full-length.
