Guys, I am so excited. We finally (finally!) have some news regarding the follow up to 2010’s excellent Gorilla Manor. The L.A. group will release their second full-length, Hummingbird, on January 29 via the Frenchkiss & Infectious record labels. Here’s what the track list looks like:
Hummingbird
01 You & I
02 Heavy Feet
03 Ceilings
04 Black Spot
05 Breakers
06 Three Months
07 Black Balloons
08 Wooly Mammoth
09 Mt. Washington
10 Colombia
11 Bowery
In the mean time you can hear the first single, “Breakers.” The song features Local Natives’ signature harmonies and charging drums, while still managing to display growth in the group’s songwriting. In other words, it’s a great song.
