Show Preview: Dana Falconberry w/ Sour Notes, JC & Co, and Bobby Jealousy

Saturday. November 3rd. Blackheart. FREE! Some complimentary beverages for the first 100 people courtesy of Dripping Springs Vodka. Go.

We’ll be honest. We’re a sponsor for this show. However, you should know that it was only through begging and pleading that this happened. We can’t take the credit. The fact is this: there is no one in the city of Austin we trust to put together a bill and respect every time they do than the folks at No Play Music Collective. So, we politely pleaded with them to let us help them get the word out about this show. If you need evidence of why we pledge our allegiance so wholeheartedly, this should be a case in point.

Every once in a while, a bill is put together that ought to come bearing a warning that attending the show may induce a coma of joy, or at least temporary insanity due to an overload of the senses. Dana Falconberry will be just returning to Austin from a long stint of dates that began with her beautiful album release show. Supporting her will be Austin’s epic indie-rockers the Sour Notes along with Bobby Jealousy, who put on one of the most explosively riveting live sets in town. As if that weren’t enough, JC & Co, the project of one-time Voxtrot member Jason Chronis will also support, as well as lo-fi,  folk-pop sensation Mike Nicolai.

In case you needed further convincing (which would make you a crazy person), Dripping Springs Vodka will be supplying some FREE DRINKS for the event to the first 100 people. So, when you leave Fun Fun Fun Fest, forget about the free nights, because The Blackheart will be the best show in town on the evening of Saturday, November 3rd. Five great bands. Free admission. Complementary drinks for the first 100 people. We’ll see you there.

Music from the bands and show poster below. More info here. Dig it.
