Sonny Smith Unveils New Song from 100 Records Project

During an artist’s residency at the Headlands Center for the Arts in Sausalito, CA Sonny Smith, of Sonny and the Sunsets, began the enormous project of creating 100 fictional records for 100 fictional bands. Polyvinyl Records will release the third installment of songs from this project on January 29th. The fictional bands represent almost every style of music imaginable. Below you can hear Smith performing the song “If You Don’t Make a Change” as Don Adora’e. Below the stream is a much more extensive explanation by Smith himself regarding the project as well as an image containing album art and the full tracklistings from all three volumes of the project current released. Highly recommended.
