Video: Dinosaur Jr. – “Pierce the Morning Rain” featuring Henry Rollins

Dinosaur Jr.’s newest album I Bet On Sky proved that the quintessential indie trio hasn’t lost anything in the way of distorted guitar lines or blistering solos. Their new video for album track “Pierce the Morning Rain” brings the essence of their songs to life by employing the efforts of James Urbaniak and Maria Bamford along with a cameo from Henry Rollins. Director Scott Jacobson tells the story of a man who discovers the world of high-end car audio systems and, ultimately, a new sense of escape. Though his daydreams of being head-butted to a blood pulp by Henry Rollins hardly seem to reflect peace, we suppose that one or two of you out there can relate. Watch “Pierce the Morning Rain” above.
