We loved “Dance Ghost,” the first track released from Helado Negro’s forthcoming LP, Invisible Life, and we’re excited to report that a new song from the album has emerged. Roberto Lange’s vocals begin crisply but slowly drift behind the primary mix of beats and synths that occupy the song’s foreground. Lange sings in Spanish, a shift from the English of the first song. The track possesses an upbeat groove and summery bossanova sheen that contrasts with a mysterious hint of darkness. The song begins with the word pesadillas–nightmares. “Junes” is another dancey success from Helado Negro; look for the album out March 5th on Asthmatic Kitty.
