Shannon and the Clams Sign to Hardly Art, Share Track “Rip Van Winkle”

shannon_clams-dreams_in_the_rat_houseIt’s only March, and the amount of times I’ve written ‘Hardly Art’ and ‘pop gem’ in the same post is criminal. Shannon and the Clams will be bringing their 50s pop-infused, garage-leaning tunes to the Hardly Art roster and releasing Dreams in the Rat House on May 21st. Additionally, the band will be performing several dates at SXSW and has announced an ensuing tour with Merge artist Mikal Cronin. Dig the band’s lead single “Rip Van Winkle” below followed by their SXSW appearances and full tour dates.
