Art pop group Austra is all set to release a new record, Olympia, on June 18th via Domino. It has been two years since the release of their last album, Feel It Break, and since that time the band has performed with artists such as Grimes, the Gossip, and very recently The xx. Austra sounded great opening for The xx at Austin’s Moody Theater, and we’re psyched that they’ll be returning next week for SXSW. Although Katie Stelmanis remains the band’s central force, she noted in a press release from her PR agent that this record consists of songs created much more collaboratively than before. On the track, Stelmanis belts out impressive notes over piano chords over synths and electronic drums. Stream “Home” below.
