Haerts Releases Video for Single “Wings”

Haerts is one of those bands currently taking indie-rock by storm. Their debut song “Wings” has received widespread buzz in recent months, and now the song will be officially released as a 7” single on Neon Gold. Directed by Emily Kai Bock, who recently created videos for Grimes and Majical Cloudz, the video reminisces on simple life in a small town. The song doesn’t sprawl so much as it floats beautifully over five minutes. Steady bass notes ground the song and provide structure as lead singer Nini Fabi delivers vocals that recall Stevie Nicks. “Wings” as a whole, in fact, sounds a bit like a modernized Fleetwood Mac track, and that’s far from a bad thing. We’re hooked on that breakdown when Fabi gets all twangy. Dig it, y’all.
