Breakthru Radio has put out a couple of great sessions by artists we really like lately. Eternal Summer, who will play the Mohawk on Saturday (win tickets here) are one, and Pop Press INTL. favorite The Blank Tapes are another. We worked with The Blank Tapes at two of our four SXSW 2013 day shows, and can testify to their greatness. Primary songwriter Matt Adams commands a laid back melody like no one else can and drummer Pearl Charles provides skeletal, upbeat percussion. This is the sound of you falling in love with summer. The band’s new album Vacation dropped this week on Antenna Farm Records. Watch them perform on and talk with Breakthru Radio above.
