Lightning Dust Shares Video for “Diamond”

Synchronized swimmers do their watery dance to Lightning Dust’s song “Diamond” in the band’s new video, directed by Helen Reed. Although the video begins with a group of average, almost bored folks hanging around a pool, they soon can’t resist the alluring pull of Lightning Dust’s synthy sounds. On the track, the group has absolutely nailed the balance of softness and buzz in their synth tone and lead singer Amber Webber’s voice matches with equal party smoky and soothing. Webber sounds almost like a folk rock singer cooing over lush synths, and the effect is outstanding. The group’s LP Fantasy drops June 25th on Jagjaguwar. Watch “Diamond” above.
