New Track: Mirror Travel – “Mexico”

It has been a truly pleasurable experience to watch Mirror Travel evolve from the young Follow That Bird into the powerful indie-rock trio that they are. Lauren Green, Tiffanie Lanmon, and Paul Brinkley compile the group, whose new song “Mexico” debuted today via SPIN. As raw, commanding, and entrancing as the song is, it still fills me with sympathy for folks who live outside of Austin. The band is simply a treasure to have living here. If you live outside of the city and you know how great this band can be live we suspect you’ve got your fingers crossed for a tour to happen soon. And if you don’t know, we suggest you cross those fingers and find out as soon as possible. Their new album Mexico comes out October 15th on Modern Outsider Records. Hear the title track below.
