The Dirty Projectors’ latest album Swing Lo Magellan is nothing short of a masterpiece, and Dave Longstreth and co. have provided a rich context of visual components to support the album–short films, a slew of music videos, thematic stills. The Projectors promise that the video for “Impregnable Question” will be the last to be culled from Swing Lo Magellan, but we won’t mind if they go back on their word. For this slow, sweet ballad of a song, a man with a backwards hat and a scruffy beard jogs through the beautiful scenery of Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks while, through some nondescript woods, a cheerleader trudges, carrying buckets of iced Mountain Dew. Watch above. If you don’t have Swing Lo Magellan, go buy it.
