I can’t put into words all of the personal reasons I have to be excited about this show. Cumulus is from Seattle and recorded their new album in The Unknown–the same venue that houses Phil Elverum’s (Microphones/Mount Eerie) micro-festival Anacortes Unknown. The Lonely Forest is an indie pop band from Anacortes. These bands both create shimmering, dance-inducing pop music. Underground recording hero and lo-fi pop master Karl Blau, also from the musical world of the PacNW, stars in Lonely Forest’s excellent new video, which you can watch below.
