We’ve said before that Fun Fun Fun Fest is the kind of festival that maintains their cred, year after year. Sure, there are sponsors, but they won’t be completely unrelated companies whose logos are slathered over every inch of ad real estate surrounding the festival. Instead, FFF is more interested in integrating opportunities for creative endeavors down to the tiny details.
For example, the poster artists that will be featured at the show represent a passionate and established group of artists committed to celebrating music. This year’s poster artists who will have available prints featuring FFF performing artists include FFF 8 poster show artists include Andy Vastagh, Anonymous Ink, Awesome Dudes Printing, Billy Perkins, Clintprints, Farley Bookout, Industry Print Shop, Jared Connor, Kollective Fusion, Lil Tuffy, Lindsey Kuhn, Paul Imagine, Ryan Duggan, Secret Serpents, The Decoder Ring, Under Press Screen Printing, Chad Lundberg, and Mindzai.
Even the food catering reflects attention to detail while simultaneously working with Austin established food connoisseurs. BBQ legend John Mueller of John Mueller Meat Co. worked with the FFF team to hand-select a variety of the city’s best eats including Austin’s Pizza, Black Sheep Lodge + Haymaker, Chi’lantro, Crepe Crazy, Frank, Hey Cupcake, Vegan Yacht, JuiceLand, Johnnye’s, and Tamale House. Those who purchase the Ultimate Smooth Pass will also have access to La Condesa’s new taco truck, El Cubico, as well as Beetnik Foods, and Bananarchy among the many USP perks. Personally, Frank’s special edition hot dogs are my favorite FFF Fest food.
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: Fun Fun Fun Fest is the best festival in the country. In addition to booking headliners like M.I.A. and The Descendents and excellent and well respected bands such as The Men, Kurt Vile, and The Julie Ruin, the festival provides a total experience for fans of music.
