Show Preview: Tristen at Mohawk Wednesday, Feb 6th

Is total honesty a winning quality? No one asked me to write this show preview–no publicist reached out, no promoter (no offense intended!). I hasn’t necessarily planned to write it. I knew that Tristen was playing some time this week, but had been pretty bogged down with the approaching Fun Fun Fun Fest and covering 5 shows in two nights. But then I remembered how amazing Tristen was the last time I saw her a the Swan Dive. And how sad I was I had to miss her when she opened for Night Beds. And what an incredibly talented songwriter she is. So even though my genuine interest is a primary deciding factor in what I post always, this one’s truly from the heart.
