Lake Shares New Video for “Perfect Fit”

Lake is one of indie pop’s best kept secrets. At times, a swelling buzz of attention will surround the band, but it always seems to inexplicably fade. The Olympia born group has changed its lineup with some frequency, but core members, husband and wife Eli Moore and Ashley Eriksson, have remained constant. In the new video for “Perfect Fit” from the group’s excellent The World is Real, the couple participates in routine acts of domesticity such as folding laundry, cooking, and simultaneous personal grooming. The song’s 70s TV theme show pop (that’s a genre, right?) is as delightful as the video is adorable. This a band that should be in your rotation and should stay there. Watch “Perfect Fit” below.
