Show Preview: Cass McCombs Plays The Belmont Friday November 22nd

cass_mccombsCass McCombs is one of independent musics most underrated songwriters. Furthering his catalogue of reflective, somber pop that channels rock and Americana through diverse production styles, McCombs issued the expansive and excellent 22-track opus Big Wheel and Others on Domino last month. The Belmont will host McCombs for a show on Friday night along with hometown opener Pink Nasty. This is one for which you want to be in attendance. GET TICKETS HERE. We’ll let the music speak for itself by embedding a few streaming tracks below, the second of which is sung by the legendary, late actress and singer Karen Black. For more thoughts on McCombs and his work, read our review of Big Wheel and Others here.
