A once-wheelchair-bound woman defies expectations and goes on an afternoon adventure in the new video from Seattle indie pop band Cumulus. The video is directed by Randy Walker and shot with a highly stylized film-like quality dominated by muted sepia tones. Filmed in Anacortes, WA during the Oyster Run, many of the characters that appear in the video are undoubtedly characters, although one suspects they may be entirely unaware of this fact. These seem to be specimens in their natural habitat. Driven by a subtle absurdity, the video offers a narrative that, at its core, is about breaking free. We dig it.
