You need more reasons? I just gave you five excellent ones in the headline! The epic dance party that will undoubtedly ensue anytime Austin faves The Octopus Project plays is a damn good reason to get out for a show. As if that weren’t enough, two also outstanding bands will open the night. The first are up and comers Tele Novella that includes stalwart Austin music scene personalities Natalie Ribbons of Agent Ribbons and Jason Chronis and Matt Simon both of Voxtrot and Belaire. The second is electronic, art-pop ensemble Borrisokane who have continued to bring their somehow simultaneously dark and exuberant pop to larger and larger audiences. What’s better is that you don’t even have to get out on a weeknight! Your favorite indie-rock venue, Mohawk is hooking you up with a must-see bill here, so get your tickets now, right here. Below you can watch/hear music from all of these bands. See you Friday, Austin!
