Baltimore’s Sun Club has shared “Cheeba Swiftkick” from their new EP Dad Claps at the Mom Prom, out now on Goodnight Records. The song is built on subtle melodic shifts, distortion, and strained vocals. There’s just a hint of that stadium folk feel in background oh-ohs, and Sun Club will find favor with fans of latter day Band of Horses and Surfer Blood. Weird, I know.
