Show Preview: Ume, Megafauna, Black Books, & Young Tongue 101X Homegrown at Mohawk

Tomorrow night is going to rock. 101X Homegrown Live, under the direction of tastemaker Deidre Gott, has been putting together some amazing bills as of late. We had a blast at their recent show that featured The Tontons, Good Field, Speak, and Slomo Drags at the Scoot Inn. Tomorrow, the series will be at Mohawk for a show that features some of Austin’s most rocking bands. Plus, the evening will serve as a benefit for SXSW Cares. Lauren Larsen’s shredding project Ume headlines the bill, up-and-comers Megafauna celebrate the release of their new album Maximalist, and Black Books and Young Tongue open the night. Black Books are a band whose talent we’ve touted before, and Young Tongue is a band we’ve been excited about since the release of their debut track “Cat Calls.” Check out music from all four of these artists below. Get your tickets for the show here. See you tomorrow.
