Two weeks ago, Punctum Records announced that they would soon reveal the details for a forthcoming release from celebrated chamber pop ensemble Mother Falcon. Well, that day has come, and audio purists can rejoice. Mother Falcon will be releasing their first-ever vinyl, a 7″ record, through the up-and-coming Austin/Brooklyn label. The A-side will be the original recording of standout song “Dirty Summer,” from the band’s most recent record You Knew. The B-side will be a re-recorded version of “Alligator Teeth” from the group’s previous album Alhambra. You can pre-order the 7″ record here, stream “Dirty Summer” below, and buy tickets for the band’s show at The Belmont on May 16th right here.
