At Austin Psych Fest last weekend, at least one other person became as smitten by Mirror Travel’s talent as we’ve been for the past couple of years. That person was Brian Jonestown Massacre’s Anton Newcombe. Following the band’s set, Newcombe tweeted the below post:

Which prompted the band’s frontwoman Lauren Green to respond on Instagram by posting this:
Although it remains unclear exactly how serious Newcombe was about his intentions to release material from the band, we’re feeling happy that someone in a position to influence opinions is praising an Austin artist that we’ve been celebrating for some months now. Here’s hoping that this partnership comes to fruition.
