We’ve been completely taken with Lena Simon’s project Kairos. If her face looks familiar to you, it may be because she plays in rising surf-rock band La Luz. She’s an excellent bassist, but her work with Kairos proves her abilities as a songwriter and vocalist as well. So far, we’ve been graced with two tracks from her forthcoming EP as well as a bonus cover of Kanye West’s “Street Lights.” Come next week, we’ll be able to check out the other music the EP has in store, and you can be one of the first by winning tickets to Kairos’ EP release show at The Crocodile on May 19th. The winner will also receive a copy of the EP on 12″ vinyl as well as a Fin Records t-shirt. One hell of a prize package.
