Austin folk-pop band MARYANN has returned from a recent tour in support of their newest album Wylie and have shared a video for their song “Coming Home to Newt.” The track features upbeat rhythms and emphasizes piano within a diverse arrangement of instruments. The video borrows animation from the Japanese animation film Kobu-tori, made in 1929. The story that unfolds involves Tengu, ancient demon creatures and an old man who has a lump removed as a reward for his dancing skills. Watch it below.
