Show Preview: Dana Falconberry’s Homecoming with RF Shannon & Devon Sproule

In two days, Dana Falconberry returns from Austin and will celebrate with a show at Stubb’s on their indoor stage. The bill also features dark folk act RF Shannon and esteemed songwriter Devon Sproule. I could watch Dana Falconberry perform her beautiful songs at least once a week, but this weekend offers increased incentive to attend as her recent shows have consisted of new, recently released material. Additionally, RF Shannon released one of my favorite albums of the year in Hunting Songs. Devon Sproule, who has played shows around the world and boasts an extensive repertoire of material, moved to Austin recently and opens the bill in the midst of her ongoing residency at Spiderhouse, which takes place during the month of May.
