Low, buzzing synths stutter across the sonic landscape of Poliça’s new song “Raw Exit,” a track that will be featured on an upcoming deluxe edition of the band’s most recent album Shulamith. In total, the new edition will contain four new songs and include a cover of vocal pop chanteuse Leslie Gore’s “You Don’t Own Me.” Why don’t more people cover Leslie Gore?
