Good news for all you psych-metal fans, Japanese band Boris has released a new video for the track “Vanilla” ahead of their new album Noise, due out June 17th in the U.S. via Sargeant House. The video gives a good idea of what seeing Boris live looks like — plenty of flashing lights illuminate a thick wall of smoke. “Vanilla,” the song itself, features a swirling mess of wailing guitars that sprawl out almost five minutes long. If you want to check out singer Takeshi’s custom-made, double-neck bass/guitar in person, you’ll have the chance to catch them on tour this summer, including a stop in Austin at the Mohawk on July 29th. Full list of tour dates follow the embed.
