We love Austin musician Abram Shook’s album Sun Marquee, which dropped early this year on Western Vinyl. Shook, one of Austin’s most lauded bassists, is also a member of psych pop trio Feverbones. Sun Marquee came out in January of this year, but just yesterday Western Vinyl posted “Tribe,” an unreleased track recorded at the same time as the album. The song, like much of the album, features laid-back dreamy sounds, sunny synth hooks, steady percussion, and Shook’s recognizably smooth vocal delivery. However, “Tribe” does sport bigger, dreamier production than most of the songs from the album. Hear the song below, and if you haven’t, buy a copy of Sun Marquee here.
