Watch Swedish Pop Band JJ’s Emotionally Arresting Video for “All White Everything”

Swedish pop outfit JJ will release their new LP, V, on August 19th via Secretly Canadian. Today, the label shared from that record, the debut video for “All White Everything.” Vocally driven and dynamic, the song begins with quiet synths and yearning vocals before distorted minor key notes cut through the mix and the song morphs into a complex, multi-textured, dark pop song. Directed by Olivia Kastebring, the video is shot using an appropriately vacant color palate and centers on surreal happenings within a psychiatric hospital. Through dead-eyed acting, visual starkness, and suspended tension the video is emotionally gripping and resonant. Check it out below. Pre-order V here.
