Austin is one of the rare cities in America where any given night has too many great options for live music. We love it, and we hate it. If you aren’t going to the Jeff Tweedy ACL taping, and you aren’t a fan of local acts such as Ramesh and Abram Shook (happening at Holy Mountain) or Hikes and Young Tongue (happening at Cheer Up Charlies), rest assured, there’s yet another option for your Friday night, especially if you’re in the mood to get your dance on. Electric Six and Yip Deceiver will play a show at Stubb’s indoors, and promise to kick out plenty of danceable tunes. Yip Deceiver offers tight, electronic pop while headliners Electric Six crank out gritty indie rock jams. Hear music from both bands below.
