SPEAK Celebrates Album Release at Empire Control Room Saturday July 5th

Tomorrow night, Saturday, July 5th, local art and music promoters Vagabond Collective will present an epic bill of outstanding Austin bands in celebration of SPEAK’s new album Pedals. The evening will include a performance by SPEAK as well as TAFTTele NovellaTotal UnicornShivery ShakesLittle LoSelva Oscura vs. Corduroi, and Animal Spirit. As is usually the case with Vagabond, the organization is going all out, transcending a simple live music show and embracing a totally immersive artistic experience with live screen printing of SPEAK art by CogDut, The Fox Hole pop up newsstand from Foxing Quarterly selling hot new zines and posters, a photo booth, drink specials concocted by the minds of the SPEAK boys, and limited edition screen printed posters by Cognitive Duty.

If you buy advance tickets for $10 you’ll receive a copy of SPEAK’s 14 track album Pedals at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased here. Tickets purchased at the door are $10, but will not come with a copy of Pedals. Below you can stream “Gates,” a track from Pedals, as well as tracks from a few of the other bands performing tomorrow night, including Little Lo, who recently released their outstanding new single, “Verberation View.” This is going to be a good one, Austin!
