Hiss Golden Messenger’s “Lucia”

Here’s Hiss Golden Messenger’s new video for “Lucia,” a quiet solo acoustic take on a summer jam which debuted yesterday and will appear on HGM’s forthcoming fifth album, Lateness of Dancers.  The album will be released September 9 on Merge Records.  The video here captures main HGM dude M.C. Taylor in Cornwall, England as the “Before the Winter Fires” video collective capture his timeless tune on a vintage Beaulieu 16mm camera.  The songs rambles and rolls in midsummer affability as Taylor sits cross-legged in the doorway of an aging English farmhouse.  Focus goes in and out as dust and debris skip through the frame, giving the video a timeless feel.  Grab some iced lemonade and watch the video below:
