Axxa/Abraxas’ New Video for “I Almost Fell”

Here’s some legit indie shit.  Today, Captured Tracks artist Axxa/Abraxas released his video for single “I Almost Fell” off his S/T debut. Like labelmate Mac DeMarco and Beach Fossils, Axxa/Abraxas’ (aka Ben Asbury) sound is dependent on lots of audio manipulation, i.e. Tascam Portastudios (actually seen in the video), to which the faux-retro sound does well to accentuate the popular indie rock aesthetic we are currently witnessing.  The video is also rich in early-90s VHS junk and other blasts-from-the-past, like “hippie-chicks” throwing paint and wearing flowers in their hair as if everyone accidentally wore the same thing to the same party at the same warehouse everyone usually hangs out and does cool stuff in, but this time someone brought their dad’s camcorder and decided to film it all and then edit it real quick with Axxa/Abraxas’ hottest jam.  Call ’em how you see ’em below:
