A cover of a 1960 track from surf-band the Frantics, Los Angeles retro-garage-rock band, the Allah Las, deliver a driving rendition of “No Wereworlf”, mystifying in its hypnotic spinning art performance courtesy of Russian artist Mikhail Sadovnikov. He calls it the “dance on the circle,” as he manipulates clay on a spinning potter’s wheel. The static shot pulls you deeper as the track gains momentum, building on the march-like procession. Sadovnikov increases and decreases the speed of the wheel, adding a dynamic twist. The track is the B-side to lead single “501-405” and will be a bonus track on the band’s upcoming sophomore release Worship the Sun out September 16.
