Letting Up Despite Great Faults Celebrates Neon Release Saturday at Holy Mountain

We already wrote a bit about the new, beautiful, pristine, and shimmering synth pop tracks from Austin band Letting Up Despite Great Faults. Over the years, the group has continued to expand an incredibly cohesive and continually impressive body of work. However, Neon marks their most sonically rich and instrumentally tight work to date.

On Saturday, the band will celebrate the release of Neon, which officially dropped this past Tuesday, with a show at Holy Mountain alongside a solid bill of other Austin acts: Löwin, Whiite Walls, and Shmu. While the former will kick off the night with some gritty guitar rock, the latter two share electronic sensibilities with Letting Up themselves. You can hear tracks from all of the bands below, as well as download “Gold” from Neon. Tickets are a no brainer price of only $5 in advance or $7 at the door. Spend your saturday with some great local music, friends. You’re welcome.
