Built on accordion, tambourine, and acoustic guitars, Austin band Patch’s song “Who Will I Dream?” is a boozy, late-night, lover’s lament. The song’s narrator pines the departure of a loved one, ensuring us that should that loved one ever return, the speaker will have long since succumbed to overwhelming use of alcohol. Fittingly, the video, directed by Patrick Nichols, focuses on a creature comprised entirely of beer cartons and making his way out of town. Both the song and video are equal parts dismal and whimsical and well worth checking out. Watch the video below.
