I love new ideas. The creators of Float Fest are giving you an opportunity to experience music in tandem with cooling off while floating the river. If you’re going to have a music festival in August, putting it beside the river is the way to go. Float Fest has also lineup up a strong and diverse bill of artists from Austin and abroad. The bill includes indie rock acts like Portugal. The Man, folk-pop band Wild Child, and rappers such as Bun B. You’ll also want to see up-and-comer Roger Sellers, who is a few weeks from dropping his new album, and Dallas dance-pop guru Ishi. It’s going to be a great day of music. If you’re looking for a way to live up the last few weeks of summer before it’s back to school, this is for you. Tickets are only $40 for music, or $55 dollars for the whole day of music as well as a float pass. It’s a hell of a deal. Get your tickets here now. Below, you can stream music from several of the performing artists.
