The War on Drugs’ newest effort Lost in the Dream, is one of the year’s most lauded records. Full of Americana points of reference slathered in introspective, garage rock sensibilities, the songs are somewhere in between Bruce Springsteen and Kurt Vile, himself once a member of the War on Drugs. Tickets are still available for the band’s show at Stubb’s, happening this Sunday night, September 28th. We’re greatly looking forward to seeing on of indie-rock’s most talented bands play a show outdoors in this new fall weather. As if these weren’t reason enough, stalwart indie troubadours Califone open the outside stage and up-and-coming Austin act Genuine Leather will perform an after show on Stubb’s inside stage. Below you can hear music from all three acts.
